By public transport

Brunel's Old Station is located in the historic railway terminus building of the Great Western Railway situated right next to Bristol's Temple Meads railway station. It is served by the City's principal public transport services, including rail, bus, park and ride and airport shuttle.

By bus

Temple Meads is served by many buses. From the station approach First Bristol operates services 8, 8A, 9 and 9A that connect with the City Centre, Clifton and Redland.

The A1 and A2 services go to Bristol Airport while services such as the 121 and the 672 connect with various villages around Somerset such as Chew Magna and Cheddar.

On Temple Way, the main road outside the station, there are cross-country services to Wells and Bath via Saltford.

There are also local bus services which go past Brunel’s. Service 1 runs from Broomhill to Cribbs Causeway, service 51 from Centre to Rookery Farm and service 52 from Hengrove to Inns Court.

By car

Car users using the M4 should leave at junction 19, taking the M32 to the city centre and follow signs to Temple Meads station. Take junction 19 for Bristol city centre if travelling north on the M5 or junction 18 if travelling south. Pay and display parking is available in the nearby Temple Gate car parks.

By coach

By air

8 miles from Bristol International Airport. The airport shuttle (Bristol International Flyer) stops outside Temple Meads Station (next door to Brunel's Old Station) where there is also a comfortable indoor waiting lounge. Journey time to the airport is approximately 30 mins. Tickets can be purchased on board.
