New Event Planning App Helps You Register Guests

We have written many times on these pages about the importance of using technology to your benefit when planning an event.

Now event organisers who are also Smartphone users will be able to make use of a handy app for the iPhone, which is also available on the iPad.

The app allows for the electronic check-in of guests as they arrive and you can have anything up to 20,000 guests without the need for a cumbersome stack of paper.

The app allows 100 free check-ins and is free to download. There is a demo button at the top which allows you to try out the service before using it.

Event Planning App

You first upload a guest list using a CSV or XLS file. Your electronic guest list can be automatically synched with various devices including tablets and hand held phones. To do real time synching you only need access to a Wi-Fi or 3G network.

Before the event, whether it be a corporate fundraiser, a conference or an exhibition, the app sends out an email that gives each guest a unique QR code to scan in.

This makes the whole arrival process faster, more efficient and more streamlined. The app has numerous organisational benefits and enables you to search for your guests quickly. You can also add guests to your list as they arrive while you are at the event. The benefits of having this database of information are numerous, especially for people who run follow-up marketing campaigns.
