Bristol Welcomes Digital Pioneers To Vision 2011
An exciting Bristol event is taking place at the Arnolfini arts centre today and tomorrow (November 23 and 24), showcasing the importance of Bristol as a haven for digital innovation.
In fact some of the heaviest hitters from Silicon Valley will be by the harbour for a series of interesting talks on the cultural impact of the internet.

One of the most anticipated talks will come from Andrew Keen, who wrote a critical work - Cult of the Amateur: How the Internet is killing our culture. The book explores the ramifications that the technology explosion has had on our world, in particular the way that mass user-generated content has lowered the overall standard of content production.
The book was a hit worldwide having been translated into 17 languages, and Keen has gone from founding his own .com business to now being the host of a popular technology chat show.
Another keynote speaker is Dan Southern of Contagious Communcations. His and other talks will help attendees learn about the innovations behind some of the world's most creative businesses.
