Autumn Blues? Not at Brunel's Old Station!
Last Friday was this year's autumnal equinox, which marks the turning of the seasons. Whilst some are sad to see the summer months fade away, we here at Brunel's Old Station are looking forward to the new seasons and the Bristol events they bring with them:October Bristol events:
At the beginning of the month, we welcome the Tesco Wine Fair, which should certainly warm those chilly bones as the temperature drops.
Hosted in the Passenger Shed on the 1st and 2nd of October, the fair promises to be an education on all things ‘vino’. With over 250 wines from 14 countries, there should be a wine for everyone to enjoy, with experts on hand to help you decide what's hot and what's not. With tickets from between £6 and £10, it is the perfect chance for you to get involved in this national tour.
On the 14th, the Passenger Shed is
also proud to host The Law Society Ball, to add some grace and glamour to the
month of October.

November Bristol events:
As November draws us ever closer to Christmas, we kick off the start of the month with the Great British Care Awards, which celebrate the excellent levels of care in the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors. Care work is never easy and it is a great pleasure to be able to play host to an event which rewards people's hard efforts.
As we continue into November we look forward to hosting Sexy Wines' first ever 'Mr Sexy UK' modelling competition. Sexy Wine, a range of exclusive wines from the Fita Preta vineyard in rural Portugal, is holding a variety of competitions throughout the UK to find the ultimate 'Mr Sexy', with Brunel's Old Station hosting the Bristol leg of the search on November 18th.
The event is expected to attract over 600 guests on the night and will take place in the historic 1,500 Square metre Passenger Shed facility within this Bristol venue. The competition will be in support of homecare, hospice and residential care charity, Sue Ryder, and is now calling on 18-25, 26-35 and 35 plus year old males across Bristol to enter the Mr Rosé, Mr White and Mr Red categories respectively.
Come December, Hype Agency will be hosting its famous Bristol Christmas parties to keep us entertained, as everyone gets into the festive spirit. And after Christmas, the New Year will roll around and then the countdown to summer begins, which is sure to bring with it a whole host of events at Brunel's Old Station.
