Cornwall Food and Drink Live

Cornwall Food & Drink LIVE is nearly here so we thought we’d release some more details of this weekend’s programme.

Over two days, Saturday November 3 and Sunday November 4, Brunel’s Old Station will welcome famous UK chefs, all of whom will bring the true flavour of culinary Cornwall to Bristol.

On offer to taste and buy will be fabulous ales, award winning meats and cheeses, while you can also get stuck into interactive activities for all the family. Join us for tasting challenges, master classes and more or take this great opportunity to stock up on unforgettable Christmas presents.

On Saturday November 3, James Churchfield from BBC Radio Cornwall will start proceedings off with renowned Cornish chef Paul Ripley. Together they will undertake a cook off challenge against BBC Radio Bristol’s Steve Yabsley and acclaimed chef Martin Blunos.

Sunday highlights include Superstar chefs Nathan Outlaw, who has two Michelin stars and a number of television programmes to his name, and Mitch Tonks from the RockFish Grill, who will be cooking up a storm with a sumptuous seafood special, chef Richard Musgrave will demonstrate survival cooking from a ShelterBox kit, and the Clifton Rugby team will be going head to head in a pasty crimping challenge.

We’d love to see any early birds here on either day, the first 50 people through the doors receive a free Cornwall Food & Drink LIVE jute bag. You can also win a trip to Cornwall, with free rail travel from anywhere on the First Great Western network thrown in!

Entrance is £5 (or £4 if purchased from www.cornwallfoodanddrink.co.uk/live before November 1); Children under 16 who are accompanied by an adult get in free.

Situated next to Bristol Temple Meads railway station, Brunel’s Old Station is easily accessible being only 15 minutes from Bath, 30 minutes from Taunton and an hour from Reading. The city centre, numerous hotels, and Cabot Circus shopping centre are within walking distance. Our venue also has two car parks and is served by several bus routes.
