Tesco Wine Fair this weekend

The incredible Tesco Wine Fair takes place at Brunel’s Old Station this weekend and even the most knowledgeable about wine will find plenty to interest them.

There is still time to book a wine workshop, where experienced wine journalists can take you through the various grapes, regions and vintages which all combine to make wines unique.

Already both Saturday sessions of the wine fair at the Passenger Shed have been sold out, but you can still get our fantastic two for one tickets offer on the Sunday afternoon. With tickets priced at £12 for the event, this is your chance to make a considerable saving.

Tickets to each Workshop with winemakers and wine experts are limited to 20 (one per person) and are only available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Wine Walks

If you want to combine the chance to learn a bit more about wine and aren’t afraid of a little exercise, then take a Wine Walk. Experts will take groups of up to eight visitors around the fair, talking about and tasting different wines that are of specific interest.

A happy wine fair visitor from last year’s event said: “We came to the Fair this year looking for wine to go with our Christmas lunch as we were cooking goose and had no idea what to match with it. Joe (our Wine Walk leader) was fantastic – he was so enthusiastic and found us the perfect wine whilst helping other people in our group with what they wanted too so we learnt loads.”

More information about Workshops and Wine Walks will be available in your Show Guide and at the Workshop Booking Area at the Fair.

Brunel's Old Station makes the perfect event venue due to its accessible location near to Temple Meads railway station. That means if you do try a few wines too many there are extensive public transport links to connect you with other parts of Bristol and cities around the UK. We look forward to seeing you here!
