CAMRA Beer Festival Tonight at Brunel's Old Station

The annual CAMRA beer festival starts tonight in Bristol at Brunel's Old Station.

The Campaign for Real Ale supports consumer rights within the UK and Europe with regards to choosing the finest drinks available in the industry.

CAMRA hold annual beer festivals across the country and they have chosen Brunel's Old Station to host this prestigious event in Bristol.

Brunel's Old Station event venue will welcome what will be its biggest event yet if feedback from other legs of the CAMRA tour are anything to go by. The Wigan CAMRA event had 300 more visitors than in 2011, making it a record turn-out of 4,700 beer aficionados.

140 different types of ale, cider and perry are being showcased at CAMRA, along with entertainment and food.

This Bristol beer festival will go on until Saturday, March 17, in what is the largest indoor event venue in the city.

Once a Passenger Shed built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel to complement Temple Meads, Brunel's Old Station is now a sophisticated conference  and banqueting venue, exhibition centre and also hosts special events such as  festivals  and Christmas parties.

Don't forget that you can only buy advance tickets for the Thursday night of this Bristol event at wegotickets.

Ticket prices include a beer festival programme, 5 worth of beer tokens and a commemorative glass for this memorable event.

Brunel's Old Station is easily accessed as it is just off the M32 motorway, but as it is not necessarily a great idea to drive to a beer festival, there are extensive public transport links. You can catch the train to neighbouring Temple Meads, hop on a number of local buses including the 8 and the 9, or arrive by coach and taxi.

See you there!
